Overview

Deep conversion rate optimisation engagement for an established Saudi lifestyle and home goods store. No rebuilds — just data-driven changes that tripled the conversion rate.

Challenge

Janat had built solid organic traffic over four years — 80K monthly visitors — but was converting at 0.8%, well below the 2–3% platform average. The cart abandonment rate was 76%. The business had real revenue sitting on the table every month, but no clear picture of why visitors were leaving.

Solution

We ran a 30-day diagnostic: heatmaps, session recordings, exit surveys, and a full funnel audit across Hotjar and Google Analytics. Three high-impact issues emerged: a confusing product page hierarchy, a checkout that required account creation, and zero abandoned-cart recovery. We redesigned the product pages (no rebuild — CSS and Liquid edits only), enabled guest checkout, launched a 3-email cart recovery sequence, and added scarcity signals and social proof to high-intent pages. A/B tests ran for 45 days to validate every change before making it permanent.
